The Etiquette School of New England ™

Welcome to our web site... No doubt you have found yourself in an odd or uncomfortable social situation.  Haven't we all?

It is wonderful to receive questions from both ladies and gentlemen equally ~ either seeking advice on a predicament they are confronted with, or questions on the proper etiquette and protocol for today's modern world.

I have provided advice on etiquette and protocol for over fifteen years, and am thrilled to be the one you ask!

'To love what you do and feel that it matters--how could anything be more fun?' - Katharine Graham

I began my advice column as author of the Miss Conduct when it debuted in the weekly Boston Globe Magazine.  It was a year of great fun hearing from all of you with questions of Etiquette, Protocol, or your Dilemmas!

In 2005 Ask Millie debuts.  I trust you will find it filled with even more questions and answers; a 21st century feel; and the wit and wisdom that you've become so fond of.

Please visit me often at my Ask Millie web log and read about those sticky situations that we all find ourselves in at one time or another.

I look forward to hearing from you. You can email  me at millydowning@gmail.com with your sticky situation question.  Don't be shy.. !

I would love to hear from you... visit my Ask Millie column on-line at Ask Millie
