Welcome to 2009 and my new blog, ‘Ask Millie’ : Go to AskMillie Blog.

As founding author of the ‘Miss Conduct,’ column for the Boston Globe Magazine, the response from readers was incredible. What started out as an idea to answer questions on ‘Life’s Sticky Situations,’ became a weekly journey to hear from many of you about topics and issues of interest to men and women, from many walks of life, and from all parts of the world. Literally.

Initially, emails came in from cities and towns across Massachusetts and New England. Then began the flow of questions from all parts of the country and most amazingly from Europe. What great fun!

A special thank you to those who took the time to ask me for my opinion on Proper Etiquette, Protocol or Your Dilemmas. Each and every week I looked forward to hearing from you and writing my response. But, now it’s time to offer something more exciting and with greater reach.

Drum roll please…. So, the best news is…

Our excitement in announcing the introduction of ‘Ask Millie.’ I’ll now be able to give many more of you the chance to ask your questions and receive more timely responses.

Naturally, I can’t promise that all questions will receive a personal response, due to sheer volume, but I can promise that many more questions can be ‘asked and answered,’ then were in my Boston Globe Magazine column each week. I look forward to sharing both wit and wisdom and hope you’ll enjoy the new ‘Ask Millie’ Weblog.
