The Young Sophisticate (Part I)  

For Young Ladies 12 and up ~  

The Young Sophisticate is a stimulating, entertaining and educational program in fashion, manners, poise and style that empowers young ladies to reach their highest potential by building self-confidence in themselves and their social skills.  

We know that parents believe teaching children social skills and beauty habits is a vital part of parenting.  But we, as parents, also recognize that many times it is the influence of another voice that reaches our child. 

The course helps young ladies deal with real situations that they encounter in their everyday lives.  Each young lady is made to feel special because ‘she is special!’ After completing the course, the young ladies are able to communicate with their peers more easily, relate to the world around them ~ distinguishing fashion world fantasy from real world happiness ~ feel comfortable with the adults in their world and, in general be at ease, because they are feeling self-confident about who they are.

This seven-week program includes over nine hours of instruction that teaches visual poise, fashion & finesse, style, social etiquette, and table manners through interactive exercises, role playing, outings, and fun filled conversations that engage the young ladies, and allow them to have fun and learn in our Wisteria Studio  ~ a warm and supportive studio created especially for their enjoyment!

When scheduling permits, we partner with local malls to hold a fashion show in which all students are eligible to participate. These events are an extremely exciting time for the young ladies to put into practice all they have learned.
